That's why we're happy to learn that VH1's Vspot Boxset series about Coldplay featured Blankety Blank's "Wake Up Now" in the background during the interview segments for the band! Gotta love knowing that Coldplay & several million people were hearing that when it aired!
5/10/08: GULFPORT MS COLISEUM/CONVENTION CENTER!!!
Playing at a coliseum doesn't suck! That's why BB is very excited about the gig down in Biloxi, Ms, at the Gulfport Coliseum.
Should be a huge blast to be in that neck o' the woods! Bonus: x-box's mom's cooking before AND after the gig!
12/19/07: A NEW YEAR & NEW SONGS WITH RICK RUBIN?!
Blankety Blank had a great year & is gearing up to do a lot more shows this coming year. New tunes are on the way, and, who knows, you might have a new CD of BB tunes to play this coming year!!! Producers being considered? Well, Rick Rubin would love to work on Roth's tunes, however, it's been a while since the 2 of them have hung out. Last CD, "Is This Your Pill?" was recorded at Butch Walker's Ruby Red Studio in Atl, so maybe the band will give ol' Butch a holler? We'll keep you in the loop...
11/14/07: YOU WANT YOUR MTV & BB?
Blankety Blank songs continue to get played on many of the shows on MTV & VH1! It's happening so often, the band is about to play the beer-drinking game of taking a swig every time we hear one of our tunes! It could get pretty ugly very quickly.
9/24/07: EVERCLEAR, BLANKETY BLANK & SUGARLAND!!!??
Blankety Blank opens for Everclear, this Sat, Sept 29 @ 4:00 at Emory University! What does the country supergroup Sugarland have to do with it? Drummer Sean O'Rourke, a long time friend of BB, just got off the road touring with Sugarland for the past 6 months & is a drumming demi-god.
Sean's also been featured several times in Modern Drummer this year, so check him out on myspace.

9/15/07: JEOPARDY + HOWARD HUGHES + PBS = BB?
Jeopardy Champ, Mark Dawson, emailed Blankety Blank to let them know that he was watching a biography on PBS on Howard Hughes to soak up more trivia knowledge.
Much to his delight, he heard BB's infamous "M&M Green & Yellow" pounding out of the speakers!
Hmmm, weird connection...
8/14/07: DATE MY MOM???!!!
More & more of Blankety's songs are getting played on MTV & VH1! The infamous "Date My Mom" show has been spinning "Ladies in Neon Light", while Room Raiders, has been spinning that song, along with "M&M Green & Yellow"! (Both of these songs are off of BB's first CD, "Something To Snack On".

1/02/07: SAVANNAH ROCK STATION, 106.1 PLAYS BB ALL WEEK!
BB had the good fortune to play in Savannah, Ga for a Big New Year's Eve Bash. If 2 encores weren't enough, we later found out that the Alternative Rock Station 106.1 was pimping BB all week leading up to the gig! Nice! (said in Borat voice)
12/06/06: BB IN TOP 20 & IS GIGGIN' WITH SKYNYRD, TOBY KEITH, HANK JR! GET YER PBR...
BB just got word that both our CD's were in the TOP 2O Best Selling CD's for Indie Rock Label, Not Lame Records in 2006!
That's pretty exciting considering they sell everyone in the Power Pop field from A to Z...
Did someone shout "Freebird?" You betcha! BB is playing the HERITAGE MOTORCYCLE RALLY this coming April 13th.
The festival is over 10 days & features such musical acts as, Hank Williams Jr, Toby Keith, 38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Montgomery Gentry and The Marshall Tucker Band. Oh yeah, there'll be motorcycles there too! Cool ones!!! BB opens up the festival on the MAIN STAGE for Marshall Tucker! Bring yer tats, yer PBR & get ready for a kick-ass good ole time!!!

7/27/06: IT'S BEEN A WHILE BUT IT'S BEEN WORTH THE WAIT! BB SONGS ON "BRAVO", "A&E" AND "MTV'S - MY SUPER SWEET 16"!!!
It's sooo true, & boy does it make us laugh, laugh, laugh our faces off to know that BB's song "M&M Green & Yellow" was played on MTV's MY SUPER SWEET 16!!! It's Natalie's big bash, or episode 105 if you're counting! We sure are...
Do ya love movies? BB does, & we heart funny movies too. That's why it tickled our little butts off to find out that Bravo used "M&M Green & Yellow" on their "100 Funniest Movie Moments Special" in May this year. Didn't get to see/hear it, but the check has cleared...
Do ya watch A&E? Sure ya do, who doesn't? "Ladies in Neon Light" got some play on their "Back to the Blueprint" series, so that's pretty sweet too!
5/22/06: DEGRASSI TV, CANADA'S MOST POPULAR SHOW & BB!!
BB doesn't live in Canada, but we sure do love em up there! "Wake Up Now" has been played on one of their most popular shows for teens called "Degrassi". It's about high school students and, well, we don't know what else!
3/14/06: NOT LAME RECORDS SELLING OUT OF BB CD'S FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD
So, this really cool indie label outta Colorado, called Not Lame Records, hears BB's cd's & wants to sell them worldwide.
Within 2 weeks they sold out of our first two shipments to them! Here's what they have to say about BB's "Is This Your Pill?"

12/14/05: UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE RADIO, 90.3 & VIAGRA
BB's own Roth & Schlepp were featured guests on U of T's rocking radio station, 90.3. when BB stormed into Knoxville, TN earlier this month. DJ Benny played several BB songs & then went along with the boys as they lead the conversation down many a dangerous trail.
Offended listener's started calling in after Roth said that Blankety Blank should be thought of as a dose of Rock-n-Roll Viagra to those with a lame social life. Other comments & more added to the circus like interview. Stay tuned, as BB will have some audio clips up soon.
09/23/05: 99X CONFIRMS BB'S ATLANTA STATUS!
It's always nice when one of the biggest radio stations in the country, 99X out of ATL, promotes your fave band. It so happens that the members of Blankety Blank LOVE this band that 99X is promoting for their big Sunday, Oct 23, Unplugged in the Park series.
Oh, the band that 99X is pimping is called Blankety Blank by the way! You should check em out...
09/21/05: MTV & REFRESH YOURSELF WITH SOAPS! SNACK IS MORE LIKE A MEAL!
Apparently, BB's 5-song EP, "Something to Snack On" is more like a meal for MTV & many soap opera's.
BB's "M&M Green & Yellow" gets airplay on MTV's Room Raiders during Season 4.
And, if that wasn't cool enough, BB Soap Opera fans should rejoice & freshen themselves up knowing that BB's "Ladies in Neon Light" & "Wake Up Now", have been played in the background of several network soap opera's over the past several months. Listen up now...
09/12/05: KID ROCK, DRIVE BY TRUCKERS, COWBOY MOUTH & BLANKETY BLANK!

09/01/05: SONGWRITING GRANT FROM ASCAP!
Lead singer/songwriter Greg Roth, aka "Roth", gets a songwriters grant from ASCAP. This is considered to be a very high honor for any and all songwriters. When asked what he'll do with the money ASCAP gave him, Roth muttered something about this finally allowing him to focus on his one true passion; water ballet. Oh yeah, he mentioned something about songwriting too.
08/20/05: COWBOY MOUTH & STALKING!
After 2 years of stalking Cowboy Mouth, Fred & the guys just couldn’t say no anymore. It didn’t hurt for BB to slash the tires of their tour bus, duct tape their mouths, and pour high energy protein smoothie shakes all over their bodies until they signed a written agreement. MTV's show "Made", plays BB's "Wake Up Now" off of their 5 song "Something to Snack On" CD, 7 days in a row! When can the band trade the SUV in for a bus???
06/27/05: ATLANTIS SHOWCASE INFO ANNOUNCED!
BB will be performing at their home away from home - Smith's Olde Bar - for the 2005 Atlantis Music Conference + Festival. Check out the tourdates page for details. But just so you know, you can buy a wristband for $30 for ALL of the Atlantis showcases. 3 nights of awesome music for only 30 bucks. Not a bad deal at all.
